Soil carbon measurement that’s affordable, robust, and landscape scale
Carbon Quester is a scientifically rigorous measurement service developed with Rothamstead Research, that doesn’t cost the earth.
Our approach
We combine physical soil sampling with hyperspectral testing techniques to unlock soil carbon measurement at scale. Our DNA is farmer-led and science-driven. Our method was tested in real world conditions and trialled at landscape scale in the North-East Cotswold Farming Cluster.
How it works
-
Plan
We design a bespoke stratified soil sampling plan tuned for precision, certainty, and cost
-
Measure
We use Rothamsted Research Laboratory facilities for rigorous and high quality soil testing
-
Analyse
We crunch the data, providing your carbon baseline report and benchmarking against comparable sites
